Digital ID Law: Biggest Worry Since COVID

      · Cyber Attacks,Personal Risks,Gov Safety Systems,SSL / TLS,Website Security

Where to start on what is the biggest worry for many since Coronavirus, especially with all of the recent Cyber Attacks.

All working Britons in the UK will soon have to hold what has been coined a 'BritCard' following a change in UK law making this form of ID legally binding and therefore making NOT having one, illegal in the United Kingdom.

What we are told is the Labour Party's answer to illegal migration and illegal workers, for me, this is what I would call the biggest worry for us all since COVID, why do I say that? I'll explain...

Just in the past few days there has been Cyber Attack after Cyber Attack with the UK Government claiming that these ID cards are safe and sound (Not their words) I've used them words for want of better words, but my point is this, the government of the United Kingdom CANNOT guarantee the full safety of its citizens details on its new system of Digital ID Cards.

This is why I call this the biggest worry since COVID, because Coronavirus risked everyone's lives, and in this day and age, the age of Cyber Attacks the new Digital ID Card risks ALL of our details.

We won't be protected by this new system, we will be at more and more risk of our details getting everywhere in this 'dystopian' plan that is to be set by Prime Minister Sir Kier Starmer because a Cyber Attack can be launched by anyone with the knowledge and can be launched from anywhere including well away from the shores of the United Kingdom.

This is a big worry for many of us, but it should be a big worry for all of us.
